Well....I'm in a photography class this summer and I am LOVING it!!!! The teacher is AMAZING!! She's super down to earth and is a very effective teacher!! I've got assignments for the class that I need to do, but finding inspiration in Duluth isnt always easy when I'm working....so.....when we get towards the end of the class I'm going to take three extra days off of work to do my project and just concentrate on taking pictures!!!!


BUT....here's the really exciting news!!! I went to a scrappy retreat with my mom, best friend and her mom this weekened!! My mom paper scrapped for the first time and it was so fun to be able to share that with her!!!! I bought one of these...................on a really great sale!!!






This thing has literally already changed my "scrappy life" so to say!!! I've learned how to use clip art and convert it to useable die cuts with photoshop and the silhouette software!!!! I can use anything!!! I'm not a big one for "traditional" die cuts so being able to customize makes me so UBER HAPPY!!!!

I cut the font and the trees with the silhouette!!!! LOVVE it!!!

Round 2 of party pics

Well....we officially have guitar hero!!! Neil was SUPER generous and bought it for Tim's bday!!!!














Some more chicken--look at that stuff!!!! soooo yummy!!!! Our friend Katie had never played before and was ROCKING out--it was hysterical!!













And the motor scooter........this was an interesting tidbit of the evening.....it was pretty funny to see everyone on it...

PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Tim is officially 30.....we had a HUGE party and it was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone we invited showed up and then some....I pretty much socialized all night and our friend Angela and my sister in law Sara we're CHAMPS and took care of sooo much for us it was awesome!!!

So these aren't really in any order....sometimes blogger just bugs me with formatting -- or maybe I'm to dense to figure it out.....

Here's my brother and I---like the look on his face??? He's saying--"I'm soooo not related to this girl in the lego helmet..."

There were A LOT of dogs at our house for this party--at one point I believe there were 7.....Here is our friend Kristin holding a stick in the driveway.....yep....she was followed by a MASS of dogs....it was HILARIOUS!!!!


Here's Pat and I prepping the chickens for the rotisserie before the party.....it was actually pretty gross.....but they were soooooooooo good!!!!


Ok....how cute is this?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had 4 yellow labs at our house (that does include our two...) and we had kenneled them while cars were pulling in and out and chickens were being dealt with...while they were in there---they ended up standing like this all on their own!!! They're in order of height!!!!! There's a huge variety of ages--13 weeks, 4 years, 3 years, and 9 months...super fun!!!


Here's "THE HAT".....Kelly found it right away when she got to our house.....It ALWAYS comes out at our parties!!!


Here's pat taking the chickens off the rotisserie--this was HONESTLY THE BEST CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He took all the string off and told us to chew it....and we all thought he was crazy....but...........it was sooooooooooo yummy to chew on the string!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo Swap layout!

We did a photo swap at Treasured Scrapbooking where we exchanged photos and made layouts of the other person's photo....I had my friend Stacey and she sent me a picture of her daughter that was just PRECIOUS!!!! It was fun because I hardly get to do any kid layouts, especially girly ones!!!

Exciting news!!!

I'm going to have a layout in Becky Fleck's upcoming July Bonus halfmaps newsletter!!! I'm thrilled beyond belief because I LOOOOVE her site and I can't wait to get her new book but she's a doll and it's awesome!!!

Treasured scrapbooking news and reveal!

The Treasured Scrapbooking site is still down, but Leslie is working to get things figured out! Don't forget about us!
