I'm in love.....

With Guitar hero that is!!!!! I got to play it this weekend at our friends' house and I'm completely addicted!!! I think about it everyday!!!!! This is insane!!! I want to buy it but I have to take budgeting into consideration and also the fact that I'll get NOTHING done once I get it!!! Here's some of the pics from the weekend---there was a lot of karaoke, guitar hero, dancing--it was what you call a BLAST!!!!!

I was PUBLISHED!!!!!!!

I was published in a NEW online magazine!!!!! The magazine is called ScrapNArt... I was supposed to have a mini album and then a layout I had done especially for a feature on Treasured scrapbooking...BUT instead I had two other layouts in addition to the one I did for the feature!!! I'm soooo stinkin' excited!!!!

I'm on pages 8, 22 and 41!!!

Gales of......April??????

We're in the midst of a NASTY blizzard up here in Duluth!!! But, it was a cool storm cause it was slow coming in which let everyone get out to the lake and take pictures of the HUGE waves down there!!! I could barely get any shots off cause I was getting blown over by the wind and getting soaked from the spray!!!!!

So far we're only at 7 inches but the winds have been topping out at 62 mph....the news stations lost power and can't even broadcast!!! The waves are 15ft high today on the lake which is causing coastal flooding!! I feel like I live up in Northern Canada right now!! This is ridiculous! BUT here's some pictures I took at the lake yesterday -- again not too wonderful of pics because of the wind and spray but you get the idea.....







Not sure WHAT these guys were thinking....but we HAD to go watch them when we saw them walk past us!!

This is a layout about how this is the one and only picture that exists of all the cousins on one side of my family because my cousin tragically passed away 6 months after this picture was taken (which was taken at my Grandfather's funeral)

This was made with kit #1--I am in LOVE with this Teresa Collins Journal It papers and the Making Memories 5th Ave stuff!!!
Here's the one from my kit I had to work with....This is a super fun kit with lots of bright fun colors to use from Dream Street and Cherry Arte. This one is made from the Cherry Arte and some Queen & Co sequin flowers
